200 days. Today marks the final push towards the end of my Master’s degree. As excited as I am to reach this milestone and be done with taking classes myself (at least for now… I seem to always say I’m done and then I apply for a new program on a whim), I also recognize that 200 days is not a lot of time.

It being the New Year, I thought it might be helpful for me to set some goals that I want to achieve throughout the next 200 days but also to keep myself on track.

January 2025:

  • Select the platform to present my final project (I’m debating between WordPress and PressBooks).
  • Review my chapter 1 and 2: I ended December feeling proud that I’d finished them but not really thrilled with the final result.
  • Establish a loose project outline

February 2025:

  • Begin to put together my project course outline
  • Review the suggested course outline
  • Explore ISTE and make connections to project
  • Family day – day of rest

March 2025:

  • Write, write, and more writing!
  • Report cards!

April 2025:

  • Write
  • Edit
  • Repeat

May 2025:

  • Polish written paper
  • Polish visual presentation
  • Organize and edit speech and talking points for presentation

June 2025:

  • Schedule a day to present my project to key members in my school district.
  • Report cards!
  • Polish presentation
  • Practice presentation
  • Reach out to peers to see if anyone would like to practice their presentations, ask for feedback.

July 2025:

  • Present my project to my supervisors and chair members.
  • Celebrate my accomplishment.
  • sleep and recuperate from two very busy years.
  • Travel to see friends across the country.

This is in no way a complete list of task but it’s good to have some place to start. Hopefully, I will come back to this list and make adjustments through the next 6 months.
